Are you looking for a fun and rewarding summer job? We offer a varied and meaningful role where you help create an unforgettable camp experience for children aged 7 to 13. Our groups are small, with several leaders per group, giving you the chance to really get to know the kids and build a strong team together with your fellow leaders.

Our goal isn’t just for the campers to have a great time – we want you as a leader to enjoy your summer too! That’s why we also organize activities outside of working hours and provide support in your leadership role throughout the summer.

We’re primarily looking for high school students, but if you’re between approximately 16 and 22 years old, you’ll likely fit right in with our fantastic leader crew. If you’re responsible, have a positive attitude, and enjoy working with children, you’re perfect for us. Previous experience leading children or outdoor knowledge is a bonus, but not a requirement.

You’ll work in a team of three leaders, one of whom will be the head leader. The head leader is responsible for coordinating the team, making sure the daily schedule runs smoothly, and staying in contact with the on-site manager. Head leaders receive a slightly higher salary due to the added responsibility. If you’re interested in a head leader role, you can indicate that in your application – final decisions will be based on suitability and our staffing needs.

Camps run during weeks 25–28 and 32–33. We prefer that you are available for at least three weeks during the summer. Salaries follow Visita’s collective agreement for youth employment and vary depending on your age and role.

If hired, you’ll be required to attend our mandatory training weekend on May 10:th. The training covers everything you need to know for your role – including safety procedures, how to use equipment, what to do in case of an emergency, how to prevent bullying, and how to create the best possible experience for all children. You’ll also get to meet the camp management team and your fellow leaders – so you’ll feel confident and excited by the time camp begins!
