These general terms apply between Aktivt Uteliv (AU) and the person who, personally or through another party, enters into an agreement with us as stated in the confirmation. The agreement may relate to rental of equipment, booking of activities, purchase of products and services, or a combination of these.

THE AGREEMENT
As the provider, AU is responsible to the guest for fulfilling the agreement. Information on our website and in communications is binding for AU, but may be changed before the agreement is finalized if clearly stated and communicated to the guest. AU is not liable for misprints or editing errors. AU is not responsible for promises made by third parties directly to the guest without AU’s knowledge.

OUR OBLIGATIONS
AU must ensure the guest receives written confirmation of the booking via email. AU must also ensure the booking matches the description in the confirmation and inform the guest of any significant changes to the booking.

YOUR OBLIGATIONS
To enter into an agreement with AU for rentals or activities, the guest must be at least 18 years old (with valid ID, or accompanied by a legal guardian). If the guest does not meet the age requirement upon pickup, cancellation rules apply. Exceptions may be made for schools, group leaders, or families by prior arrangement. The guest is responsible for following AU’s rental rules without exception. Sobriety is required when participating in AU activities. AU reserves the right to deny participation if safety cannot be guaranteed. No refunds will be given in such cases.

YOUR RIGHTS
The guest has the right to transfer their booking to another person, subject to AU’s approval unless there are valid reasons to deny it. You must notify AU in advance. AU may make changes to the booking if equivalent products or services can be offered. If AU cannot provide what was confirmed, and no suitable alternatives are available, the guest may cancel the agreement. The guest also has the right to cancel if terms change significantly to their disadvantage. This must be done as soon as possible.

WHEN IS THE BOOKING BINDING?
The agreement becomes binding once the guest has paid or once AU has confirmed the booking via email. The guest must check the confirmation to ensure all details, such as dates, are correct.
