Canoes for family, friends and luggage
Our open canoes offer room for paddling together and luggage. Models have two or three seats and are booked by participant numbers and total weight.
Collect your canoe in Sunnersta near Ekoln. Paddles, buoyancy aids and an introduction are included.
When is an open canoe suitable?
- When two adults want to paddle together with space for luggage.
- When a family wants a gentle trip in the same craft.
- When space and shared experience matter more than top speed.
Canoe or kayak?
Open canoes are roomy and easy to pack. Kayaks are more efficient over distance and usually offer better protection from wind and splashes. Be especially careful canoeing on Ekoln as wind increases: the higher, open craft catches more wind.
Also at Fyrishov
For a more central Uppsala start, book a canoe at Fyrishov Camping. Check collection carefully: Fyrishov and Sunnersta offer different equipment.
