Contract, prices and payment
The contract becomes binding when we confirm the booking or order, or when payment has been completed. Always check dates, times, products, participant numbers and contact details in the confirmation. Contact us as soon as possible if anything is incorrect.
All prices shown to private customers are in Swedish kronor and include VAT. Payment is normally made when booking or purchasing. Companies, schools, clubs and other groups may pay by invoice if agreed in advance.
The person entering into the contract must be at least 18. Unless otherwise agreed, a minor may rent or participate if a guardian or another responsible adult makes the booking.
Rental terms
- You must be able to show identification at collection. Exceptions may be agreed for organised groups.
- You are responsible for providing correct information, including height, weight, shoe size, experience and intended use.
- Check the equipment at collection and tell us immediately if anything seems wrong or is missing.
- Use the equipment carefully, following instructions and its intended purpose. It must not be sublet, sold or transferred to anyone else.
- You are responsible for the equipment until it has been returned and registered as received.
- Late returns are charged for the extra rental time and may also incur compensation for costs affecting the next customer.
- Return equipment in a normally cleaned condition. Unusually dirty equipment may incur a reasonable cleaning fee.
Damage, loss and theft
Normal wear is included in the rental. You are responsible for damage caused by negligence, incorrect use, loss or theft. Costs are assessed according to repairs, spare parts, equipment age and replacement value. Aktivt Uteliv does not provide insurance for rented equipment. Please check what your household insurance covers.
Collection, return and free travel days
Your booking confirmation states the place and time. Prebooked equipment may sometimes be collected or returned through a code locker outside opening hours. Contact us and book at least one hour before closing so we can prepare it. Locker collection is valid only after our confirmation and code or instructions. A booking made after staff have left cannot be collected before we return.
Ski equipment for a trip can normally be collected after 15:00 before the first charged ski day and returned before 13:00 after the last. This works for one ski day, a weekend or a longer ski holiday. Any free travel days are shown in the booking summary. Other equipment follows the times in the confirmation.
Cancellation and rescheduling

We assess documented serious illness, accidents, a death in the immediate family or comparable unforeseen events individually. A medical certificate or other evidence may be needed. If a rental already in progress ends early, unused time is refunded only where required by law or approved by us.
We may cancel or change an activity if weather, safety, official decisions or other circumstances make it unsuitable to proceed. We will primarily offer an equivalent alternative, a new date or a refund for the part we cannot provide.
Purchases and the right of withdrawal
Goods ordered online are normally collected at Sunnerstastugan. Stock and the chosen variant are confirmed in the order. If we cannot supply as confirmed, we will contact you and offer an alternative or a refund.
As a consumer, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for goods bought at a distance, starting when you receive them. You may inspect goods as you would in a shop, but may be responsible for loss of value if you handle them beyond what is needed to assess their properties and function. Custom-made or clearly personalised goods may be excluded.
To withdraw from a distance purchase, use our purchase withdrawal form or contact us in writing. You will receive an email confirmation. Withdrawal rights and cancellation are different. Leisure activities on a specific date or during a specific period may be excluded from statutory withdrawal rights and instead follow the cancellation terms above.
Workshop services
We assess the equipment and recommend work based on its condition and your desired result. An estimated price or quote may need adjusting if we find faults that could not reasonably have been seen at drop-off. We contact you before carrying out significant additional work.
Work is carried out professionally. Completion times are estimates unless an exact date has been agreed. Equipment left uncollected after repeated reminders may incur a reasonable storage fee.
Complaints and disputes
Contact us as soon as possible if goods, services, rented equipment or activities do not match the agreement. Describe the fault and give your order or booking number. These terms do not affect mandatory consumer rights. Goods and work on movable property normally have a three-year complaint period, but you must complain within a reasonable time after discovering the fault.
If we cannot reach agreement, consumers can contact Allmänna reklamationsnämnden. Swedish law applies, and a dispute may also be heard by a Swedish court.
