Try stand-up paddling close to Sunnersta. Choose a sheltered route and calm conditions, especially when learning. The rental includes a paddle, life jacket and an introduction before you set off.
Balance, exercise and time on the water
SUP brings you close to the water, whether new or experienced. Enjoy a gentle outing, practise balance or combine paddling with swimming.

Your first SUP outing
Start gently near the launch. Begin kneeling and stand when comfortable. Look ahead, bend your knees slightly and use your whole body to paddle.
Wind matters more than you think
SUPs are quickly affected by wind. Check the forecast, stay closer to shore in uncertain conditions and plan for an easier return. Turn back early.
