Suitable for: Naturis
See the available packages and the boots or bindings they use. Fit and compatibility matter throughout a longer outing. Check any required safety equipment separately before skating on natural ice.
Try equipment before building your own setup
A Nordic skating package includes skates and boots as described in the product. Bindings, boots and blades must match, with fit checked at collection.
Natural ice also needs full safety kit, suitable companions and ice assessment skills. Renting equipment does not mean any particular ice is safe.
Before your tour
- Fit: Boots should hold the heel and provide support without uncomfortable pressure.
- Safety equipment: Plan for an ice-testing pole, ice claws, rescue line, flotation aid and waterproofed spare clothing.
- Companions: Do not skate alone; preferably join an experienced leader or club.
- Current information: Check local ice reports and weather shortly before your tour.
