It started with a simple idea.
We wanted to make getting outdoors easier: the right equipment, personal advice and a chance to try things without buying everything yourself. The idea has grown, but the same curiosity still drives us.

Three months to test the idea
We tried winter equipment rental for three months in temporary premises by Brantingstorg. We opened on Tuesday to Thursday evenings and at weekends from 10:00 to 16:00. After that first winter, we felt the idea had a future.

More than winter rental
We moved to Bergsbrunnagatan and developed the business. Summer equipment, activities and events joined our winter rental offering. As the business grew, we began looking for a place with nature right outside the door.
- December 2019
Lucia Day at Sunnerstastugan
On 13 December 2019, we opened at Sunnerstastugan, with forest, water, trails and slopes close together. The pandemic followed shortly afterwards, making for an unexpected start to this new chapter. Our ambition remained: to create a destination worth visiting in its own right.

A meeting place all year round
Today, rental, our shop and workshop sit alongside courses, training, camps and events. Sunnerstastugan’s café is a natural part of a visit: have fika after an activity, wait while your equipment is serviced, or simply sit down for a while.
- 2027
Our biggest adventure yet
Äventyrsskogen opens in 2027: our biggest project yet, with high ropes courses and ziplines in Sunnersta. We are also developing our food and restaurant offering. Our goal is a destination where more people can find their own way to enjoy the outdoors and stay a little longer.
