Snowboard School

Snowboarding is incredibly fun – and our skilled instructors are here to help you get started as a beginner or continue developing your skills at your own pace.

Our courses are structured so you can improve the more lessons you take. Whether you’re brand new or already know the basics and want to take your snowboarding to the next level, you’re welcome. We keep the groups small to ensure everyone receives individual coaching.

849 SEK (equipment not included)

Age Group

From 9 years and up, including adults.

What Will We Learn?

We cover the essential basics:

how to ride the lift
how to ride on heel edge and toe edge
turning
braking

Our snowboard instructor adjusts the lesson to the group’s skill level.

Course Duration

Approximately 2 × 90 minutes
Two separate sessions, each 90 minutes long.

When?

We start as soon as the slope opens for the season (we do need snow).
Sessions are scheduled when snow conditions are normally the most reliable.
If there is high demand and a good winter, we may add extra course dates.

We have a limited number of spots due to instructor availability, so first come, first served applies.

Equipment

Snowboard equipment can be rented from Aktivt Uteliv Uppsala.
Here you’ll find our snowboard rental options.
A lift pass is included during the lessons.

No Snow?

If snowmaking is not possible – as happened during the 2019/20 season – we will refund the full fee.
If the first sessions must be cancelled due to snow conditions but the season improves later, your course may be moved to another weekend.
All information will be communicated clearly to everyone registered.
