Rent your ski and snowboard gear with us at Sunnerstastugan!

With us, you can rent skis and snowboards for an entire season. You can choose to rent a complete package, which includes skis, boots and poles, or individual items such as just a pair of boots.

By “entire season,” we simply mean long-term rental. We don’t decide how long your season is. Some customers come in as early as October to rent skis before the resorts open, but return the equipment right after the winter break. Others start their season during the winter break and keep skiing until the resorts close in spring.

Your seasonal rental starts on the date you pick up the equipment and ends on April 30. If you wish to keep using the equipment after that, just let us know. During the entire rental period, you keep the equipment at home and ski as much as you like.

How to rent alpine equipment

For seasonal rentals, we recommend visiting us at Sunnerstastugan, as this is a first come, first served product and cannot be booked online.

If you want to rent individual items such as skis, helmets or poles, you can either book directly here on the website or visit us and we’ll help you on the spot.

In our package you get skis, boots and poles, or alternatively a snowboard with matching boots and bindings. The rental period runs until April 30, and throughout the season we offer free size exchanges. You’re very welcome!

How it works

To rent for the season, visit our store at Björnögården. Everyone who needs equipment must come along so we can make a proper fitting for each person. We adjust the equipment on the spot while you wait, and you take everything home immediately. Please note that season rentals cannot be pre-booked online.

Rent – Test – Buy

When you choose “Rent, Test, Buy” with us, you first rent and test the product for a period that suits you. If you then decide to buy a new, equivalent product, we’ll deduct the rental cost from the purchase price. This way, you can feel confident in your choice.
